Sänger GmbH Case Study

The Client
As a Company that manufactures extruded and molded rubber based products for industrial and retail customers, our client needed to replace it’s existing hard-copy catalogue system to an electronic one in order to keep ahead of competition and to streamline it’s ordering process using the internet.
The Situation
Because of rapid expansion and the commencement of exports to a diverse client-base with a wider range of products and because of the intense competition in the European market place, there rose the need for the creation of an impressive catalogue that was both eye-catching and dynamic. This would enable our client to be more responsive to customer needs by changing the product offerings even on a weekly basis since the catalogue was web-based.
The Challenge
More than posting a product catalog, our client sought to provide its customers with an engaging and convenient user experience - an online catalogue complete with high quality design.
Our client wanted to provide a complete user experience, in both catalog browsing and by using the best available visual elements.
The Response
Owing to the large product range, breaking the catalog down into multiple movies and loading them into different levels, we were able to continue loading content in the background while the user viewed the initial screens. When the user requests other portions of the movie, it appears instantly.
The catalogue was developed, keeping in mind the fact that consumers demand fast access to information.
The Technology
To satisfactorily meet the requirement, a product catalog in Macromedia Flash, supported by Adobe Photoshop, was developed.
Macromedia Flash intensifies the online experience while enhancing and differentiating online presence.
